Arrow of Light

Isaac received his Arrow of Light at Cub Scouts on Saturday.     This is the highest award a Cub Scout can get before he moves on to become a Boy Scout.   

Isaac and one of his friends received special mention at the ceremony, as they had completed all 20 Activity Badges - the most a Cub Scout can achieve as a Weblos (the name of the Den for the oldest boys).   They were recognized with a "Super Achiever" badge. 

 

 

 

Now he is a Boy Scout - and has gone from being one of the oldest at Cub Scouts to being one of the youngest at Boy Scouts.   But this does not concern him at all.   For his ceremony, he wrote that one of the things he was looking forward to most of all was going camping more often without Mum & Dad.    He's excited and ready to be a Scout.
